A warm welcome to you
Hi, I am Gemma Snyder, an experienced clinical psychologist specialising in working with adults seeking therapy for a broad range of concerns. Working broadly is important to me as often the challenges people face are multi faceted, requiring a nuanced approach. Therefore, I prioritise taking the time to truly understand you as an individual. In my work, I have seen how time spent building this deeper insight is essential in developing a foundation for effective therapeutic change, as I can then offer an individualised approach to your goals and unique life experience.
My style is attuned, collaborative and flexible. I see therapy as a place for a genuine conversation, meaning there will be moments of warmth, moments to be challenged to help you meet your goals, and even some moments of laughter. At times we will slow the pace to understand what’s coming up, and other times where we work in a goal directed way. Therapy should be collaborative, so I’m always open to hearing what your needs are, and meeting you where you are at.
I have completed my Master’s in Clinical Psychology in Adelaide. I hold full registration with AHPRA (PSY0002393987), and have an area of practice endorsement (AoPE) in Clinical Psychology.

About Nurtured
I chose the name Nurtured because nurturance is at the heart of what supports a healthy, meaningful life.
Nurturing isn’t just about care in moments of difficulty, it’s about how we relate to ourselves, our physical and emotional wellbeing, relationships and foster our interests.
When parts of our lives go unnurtured, we can begin to feel disconnected or stuck. Therapy can be a space to notice what has been overlooked and to gently reconnect with what helps you feel more grounded and genuine.
At Nurtured, the focus is on supporting growth in all its forms: nurturing self-understanding, emotional wellbeing, relationships, health, and the parts of you that matter most.
